Preparations Are Underway for the 23rd Edition of the International Istanbul Yarn Fair

The International Istanbul Yarn Fair, one of the textile industry's key international meeting points, is preparing to bring industry professionals together in Istanbul for the 23rd time. Stand space sales have commenced for the 2027 edition of the fair, which will be held by Tüyap Fairs and Exhibitions Organization Inc. at the Tüyap Fair and Congress Center from March 17 to 19, 2027.

The International Istanbul Yarn Fair will bring together manufacturers, suppliers, purchasing professionals, distributors, and international buyers on a single platform, showcasing organic yarns—such as cotton, wool, silk, linen, and viscose—alongside synthetic yarns like acrylic, polyester, nylon, and polypropylene yarns. The fair will also showcase regenerated, specialty, metallic, technical, fancy, elastane, and hand-knitting yarns, as well as fibers and fiber products, bobbins, cones, and spools, and textile chemicals and dyes.

12,000+ Professionals Hosted in 2026

With a great number of international professionals hosted in 2026, the International Istanbul Yarn Fair once again demonstrated the key role that it plays in the global trade affairs of the industry. A total of 400 exhibitors, including 250 local companies, took part in the fair, which was visited by 12,285 industry professionals from 91 countries.

Purchasing delegations from nearly 30 countries, primarily from the Middle East, North Africa, Central Asia, and Europe, held one-on-one business meetings with exhibitors throughout the fair. The meetings have helped exhibitors' efforts to capture new export opportunities, enhance their existing trade relationships, and improve their access to different markets.

2027 Target is to Attract Visitors from 100+ Countries

The International Istanbul Yarn Fair aims to further reinforce its key role in the international landscape in 2027. This year's fair is expected to host visitors from 100+ countries, as well as 15,000+ industry professionals, exhibitors from 20+ countries, and more than 500 companies and company representatives.

As part of the efforts to expand the fair's visitor base, plans are in place to focus on key textile markets in Europe and the neighboring regions—specifically Italy, Spain, France, Romania, Poland, the UK, Egypt, and Portugal. Accordingly, the fair is intended to create a platform where textile manufacturers, yarn suppliers, distributors, international buyers, and

industry professionals from various countries can come together to forge new business connections and capitalize on international trade opportunities.

Business Connections to Be Strengthened Through Purchasing Delegations and B2B Lounge

Efforts to create opportunities for business meetings at the 2027 edition of the fair are underway. In addition to the special purchasing delegation programs featured at the fair, a B2B Lounge will be set up to enable exhibitors and visitors to conduct direct business meetings. Purchasing delegation programs and B2B meetings will help exhibitors reach new export markets, engage with new customers, and enhance their existing collaborations.

The International Istanbul Yarn Fair can be visited at the Tüyap Fair and Congress Center (Halls 3, 4, 5, 7, and 8) on March 17 and 18 from 10:00 to 18:00, and on March 19 from 10:00

to 17:00.
