Bonded Polyester Thread

Bonded polyester thread is composed of high-tenacity polyester continuous filaments that are twisted with hot melting material, and subsequently consolidated through a heattreating process. The technology makes filaments twisting more tough with a uniform finish which prevents the ply ends from unraveling in the reverse direction, which enhances abrasion resistance and facilitates smooth stitching. Moreover, bonding technology improves environmental resistance like heat tolerance, chemical and mildew resistance. Combined with polyester’s natural UV resistance, bonded polyester thread is superior for heavy fabric that will be subject to prolonged strong UV rays such as footwear, suitcase and bag, outdoor gear, sports equipment, tents, awnings, sails, automobile covers and so on.
