In March 1973, Arif Molu founded KARSU Tekstil Sanayi ve Ticaret Anonim Şirketi (KARSU Textile Industry and Trade Joint Stock Company) in Kayseri with 25 partners and a capital of 500,000 lira. Immediately afterwards, the company's capital was increased by issuing shares to the public and workers abroad, and KARSU became a joint stock company with many partners. By focusing on exports, KARSU experienced rapid growth, and through successive expansion investments and technological upgrades, it became one of Turkey's largest textile companies and gained a sought-after brand value. Following these evelopments, it went public in 1994, and its shares began trading on the stock exchange. It has consistently succeeded in making a name for itself in domestic and international markets and maintaining its prestigious brand position in the sector.
