Teknik Masura was founded in Istanbul in 1968 to manufacture paper cones for winding textile yarns. In 1976, it moved to Tarsus to better serve the yarn mills in the Çukurova Region, a textile hub at the time. Incorporated in 1995, Teknik Masura completely renewed its machinery with new investments, increasing its capacity and relocating to the Mersin-Tarsus Organized Industrial Zone in 2002. Having produced exclusively paper cone tubes for forty years, the company began producing gray cardboard in 2008, and now produces paper rolls, cylindrical paper tubes, and paper corner protectors used in the textile sector. Today, it boasts a remarkable success story, accounting for approximately 35 percent of Turkey's paper tube production.
