“We are participating in the fair from Gaziantep. When I evaluate the fair overall, I can say that the first day has been quite successful. This year, the organization has also been well arranged; common areas, entrances, and cleanliness were all very well managed. On the visitor side, we are currently seeing strong attendance. We have a broad customer profile from both domestic and international markets. In addition to customers from European countries, the UK, Russia, and Arab countries, we also have local visitors from industrial cities such as Gaziantep, Istanbul, and Bursa. I believe this fair is particularly important as it coincides with the beginning of the season. It offers a valuable opportunity for companies to determine their strategies for the new season, as well as to follow innovations and trends. For this reason, I think it is beneficial for everyone in the sector to visit the fair. We have been participating in this fair for nearly 20 years and plan to continue attending in the coming years. “We are a Gaziantep-based company; our factory is located in Gaziantep, while our sales office is in Istanbul. Overall, the fair has been very dynamic and productive for us. We have hardly had any idle time; we are constantly receiving visitors. We have guests from abroad as well as existing clients who come to visit us. As the textile sector, we had been going through a relatively slow period for some time; however, we can clearly see that the momentum which started about a month ago has also been reflected in the fair. Looking at the visitor profile, we have hosted guests from various European countries, particularly Russia, Syria, and the United Kingdom. Although their numbers are lower compared to Turkish companies, it still presents a very positive picture. We are participating in this fair again after many years— approximately a 15-year break. Due to the crisis in the sector, we made this decision to focus more on exports and to capture new opportunities. Despite this being our first participation after a long break, I can say that we have achieved very good results, and we plan to continue participating in the coming years. I would definitely recommend other companies to participate in the fair. In fact, we made this decision based on the recommendations of other companies, and we will continue to recommend it as well. Overall, I believe it is a successful fair and hope it will be beneficial for our sector. I believe that the economic challenges the textile industry has faced over the past one or two years can be overcome through such organizations. “I am Can Kocadağ, General Manager of LİSA İplik Sanayi. Since our establishment, we have been participating in the TÜYAP Yarn Fair with great pleasure. We have now started the second day of the fair, and I can say that the first day was quite productive. I hope today will be just as fruitful. As of the first day, we welcomed many visitors from both Europe and Middle Eastern countries. As this fair organized at TÜYAP is one of the largest yarn fairs in Europe, it attracts a wide range of international visitors. “As Eren Tekstil, we are participating in this fair for the third time, and we are very pleased to be here. As one of the largest fairs in Europe focused solely on the yarn industry, I believe it is a highly productive organization. Thanks to this fair, we have the opportunity to come together with our business partners both in Türkiye and abroad. Being able to establish one-on-one communication here with people we may not have the chance to meet face-to-face throughout the year creates a much stronger and more effective interaction. Our company mainly operates with an export-oriented structure, primarily serving Europe. This year at the fair, we had the opportunity to meet buyers not only from Morocco, Serbia, and the Balkan countries but also from European countries such as Italy, France, and Germany.
