"There is Art in Thread" with the Texture Fabric Design Contest
The fabric designs appearing at the Texture Fabric Design Contest that is organized by the Southeast Anatolian Textile and Raw Materials Exporters' Association (GATHIB) with a view to introduce original designs to the textile sector by providing an opportunity to the talents who are interested in turning their creativity into products will meet sector professionals at International Istanbul Yarn Fair.
The area where the most impressive, innovative and original designs will be exhibited will be the source of inspiration for the sector. Not only a significant trading platform, but also a great knowledge-sharing platform, International Istanbul Yarn Fair will shed light on the future. Fabrics of contestant designers in the categories of printed, woven and knit will be displayed at the hall where designs that have won the sustainability special award will also be featured. Tens of fabric designed with inspiration from nature, including really different elements from forest, sea, leaves, flowers, birds and trees to invisible microbiomes in the nature, are waiting for the eyes that seek inspiration.
